Junior Shooters
WAC offers junior programs that build safe fundamentals and confidence — from introductory recreational sessions to competitive training in Air Rifle and Smallbore Rifle (.22). Both programs are offered at no charge and equipment is supplied.
Meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. An introductory program exposing participants to various shooting disciplines. Safety classes can also be arranged for private groups. No charge, equipment supplied.
Meets Monday and Tuesday evenings, 6:15–8:30 PM. Focuses on Air Rifle and Smallbore Rifle (.22) in competitive fields. Minimum age 12; participants are considered juniors through the year of their 20th birthday. The program prepares participants to compete and develop skills for collegiate shooting if desired.
Juniors interested in USPSA, IDPA, and action pistol sports enjoy a session of drills and training every 2nd Saturday of the month. Occasionally juniors also receive special training from top shooters who visit the facility.
