Project Appleseed is an activity of the Revolutionary War Veterans Association (RWVA), a nonprofit operated by volunteer instructors. The program combines traditional rifle marksmanship with an American heritage presentation centered on April 19th, 1775.

What You’ll Learn
Participants are taught fundamental rifle marksmanship intended to allow accuracy out to 400 yards using iron sights, a standard rifle, and surplus-style ammunition. Training covers shooting from standing, sitting, and prone positions, safe gun handling, and proper use of a sling.
Most instruction is conducted at 25 yards on reduced-size targets simulating 100 to 400 yards.
