WAC hosts multiple action shooting opportunities each month. USPSA and IDPA are among the largest competitive action pistol organizations in the U.S., and WAC's SCSA program brings Steel Challenge competition to the range on a regular schedule.
These matches give shooters a structured way to build skill, compete safely, practice stage planning, and stay active in organized shooting sports.
Matches are grouped by discipline to keep the schedule clean. Always confirm dates, changes, and registration details on the WAC calendar and PractiScore before attending.
Weekly action pistol matches with 4 stages.
4 SCSA classifiers on the 2nd Wednesday and up to 6 SCSA classifiers on the 3rd Saturday.
Monthly defensive pistol match with 6 stages.
Monthly USPSA 6-stage match, plus a special match on 5th Saturdays when applicable.
Zombie or ICORE match depending on the monthly schedule.
Action Pistol Juniors Practice and The Well Armed Woman activities.
New to action shooting? The New Shooter Introduction is held on the 1st Saturday of every month at 10:00 AM. This 3-hour course covers equipment, rules, etiquette, and safety with classroom and on-range time.
